This project reimagines and reconstructs modelling photographs from the subjects’ pasts, placing them in front of the lens once again, now older, stronger, and more self-assured. Through these re-staged portraits, the work explores the evolution of beauty, identity, and self-perception as young women come of age. By revisiting these early images and reinterpreting them with authenticity and agency, the series highlights the transformative journey of growing up female, where beauty becomes less about conformity and more about personal power. It celebrates individuality and reflects on how time, experience, and confidence reshape our understanding of who we are.
